1. PM only: Use exclusively in the evening - the acids increase photosensitivity. Always apply SPF the following morning without exception.
2. Start slow: Begin 3x per week on clean, dry skin after cleansing and toning. Increase to nightly use over 2–3 weeks as your skin adjusts.
3. Application: Dispense several drops onto fingertips and smooth over face and neck. Avoid the eye area and lips. Allow 60–90 seconds to absorb before moisturizer.
4. Layer smart: Follow with a fragrance-free, barrier-supportive moisturizer (Tranquili-Cream or AquaPorin work well) to lock in the actives and reduce any initial dryness.
5. Alternate with retinol: If you're also using a retinol, alternate nights - Serum 71 one evening, retinol the next. Combining both nightly increases irritation risk without proportional benefit.
6. Timeline: Expect smoother texture and early brightening within 1–2 weeks. Significant fading of deeper pigmentation and visible firming typically require 4–8 weeks of consistent use.
7. Professional synergy: Excellent for maintaining results between chemical peels or enzyme treatments - use on non-treatment weeks to extend professional outcomes.
