Acne doesn't confine itself to the face - breakouts on the back, chest, and shoulders call for the same level of care, minus the heavier textures typically formulated for facial skin alone. This gel cleanser is built with chirally correct L-mandelic acid at a low concentration, an alpha hydroxy acid recognized for anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and antifungal properties, making it effective across both face and body without over-stripping either.
Gluconolactone, a polyhydroxy acid, works alongside the mandelic acid to support gentle cell turnover and refine rough texture with less irritation than typical AHAs, while green tea leaf extract calms inflammation and provides antioxidant defense. Grape seed extract adds further antioxidant protection to support skin elasticity. Because mandelic acid has a larger molecular structure than glycolic or lactic acid, it penetrates more slowly, making this formula well-suited to acne-prone and reactive skin needing exfoliation without excess irritation. Can tight up skin, because of acid as a main ingredient. But helps skin alots to exfoliate and clear up.

The cleanser is better for a body then for a face imho. For face it is very strong (unless you have veryyy oily skin), otherwise it tights skin so strong and gives not nice feelings. It clears my back well, but it is definitely not for my face wash.
I have an oily skin and I really suffer if i over sweat, it cause breakouts immediately. This cleanser is really a miracle for skin type like mine! Im using it for face a body (especially back and shoulders). It dries the sebum and stops growing acne bacteria. Im in love with this cleanser, wished know it when I was a teenager.
