Determine the type of curl you would like to achieve by choosing the appropriate rod size.
Use the 0.75" small styling cone for ringlets.
Use the 1" styling rod for loose waves.
Use the 1.25" styling cone for natural-looking curls.
For curls from scalp to ends, place the base of the iron close to the head and begin wrapping a section of hair around it. If you want to curl half the strand, begin wrapping at mid-length. Wrap the hair over the iron for more wave, or under the iron for more bounce and lift.
