The purest omega-3 source
There are a lot of drawbacks to getting your essential omega-3 fatty acids from fish or fish oil supplements. Many fish species contain high levels of mercury, a toxic heavy metal. Fish oil supplements tend to contain filler ingredients, preservatives, or thickeners like carrageenan, which may contribute to inflammation and bloating.
We wanted the purest, most bioavailable source of DHA omega-3s, so we went straight to the source: Schizochytrium algae (pronounced skitz-uh-kie’-tree-um). Our algae are cultivated sustainably in an enclosed system to ensure minimal impact on the marine ecosystem.
Head & Heart has no fillers, no carrageenan, nor artificial ingredients — our omega-3 is as pure as it gets.
